GCPA Annual Conference
The Georgia College Personnel Association (GCPA) is excited to host an in-person conference experience at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia on Thursday, 9 October-Friday, 10 October 2025. This year’s conference theme is “Georgia On My Mind: Celebrating Excellence In Higher Education,” reflecting the conference planning team’s hope that it will engage participants in conversations, learning in the conference themes of celebrating the amazing work in higher education and digging into our Georgia roots. All professionals and graduate students working to support higher education in Georgia are invited to attend!
Call for Proposals
GCPA is now accepting program proposals for our 2025 conference themed Georgia On My Mind: Celebrating Excellence In Higher Education”. This is a wonderful opportunity to share the work we do, lessons we have learned, and continue to evolve and innovate the work we do. Please submit your proposal by Friday, 22 August 2025; program presenters will be notified by Friday, 5 September 2025.

GCPA Award Nominations
GCPA is proud to recognize outstanding individuals and programs that embody the values, innovation, and dedication that define higher education. We invite you to nominate deserving colleagues, students, and programs for our 2025 GCPA Awards, which will be presented at the Annual Conference this October.
Please review the award categories on the GCPA Awards page and submit your nominations by Friday, September 19th at 5 pm. You may nominate more than one individual or program. Self-nominations are welcome and encouraged.
Conference Hotel Booking
More information regarding conference hotel booking will be released soon. There is lodging available in Macon, GA and on Mercer’s campus.
